Care of art work from the Waihora

All of the photographs are taken, processed and printed by John.
John uses strict colour management and processing to ensure the reliability of reproduction of each print. The photographs are printed on the best quality imported archival printmakers paper, 310 GSM.

The photographs must be hung in a room that is dry and well ventilated; the frame allows the prints to breath to ensure their longevity. Avoid excessive damp, cold or heat.

Archival paper will last longer then a lifetime under glass without any fading. John analyses the reflective qualities of the papers he uses to create the best possible quality print, each a faithful reproduction.
The Canvas prints have a UV coating to protect them from fading and some scuffing, however they must be handled with care cotton gloves must be used when hanging.

The Aluminium substrate prints are made using a UV hardened ink are waterproof and will last for longer then an archival print. They have a hanging system attached, please use gloves when handling these prints as they will mark. They can be carefully cleaned using a damp cloth.
